Blake Lively Transforms Into a Disney Princess to Bring Joy to a Group of Kids in Need

May 13 2018 - 10:20am

Just days after shutting down the Met Gala [1], Blake Lively [2] hosted Shutterfly's Baby2Baby Mother's Day [3] celebration in NYC on Thursday. The charity [4] provides low-income families with basic necessities like clothing and diapers, and Blake channeled her inner Disney princess for the event. The mother of two [5] looked pretty in pink as she read books to the kids and did some arts and crafts activities.

During the event, Blake also opened up about her own children [6], daughters James, 3, and Ines, 1. "I always want to make sure they're present and they're appreciative," Blake told Vogue. "In order to be appreciative [of] what you have, you have to realize that it isn't a given. We talk about how we're very lucky, and even though we work hard, we need to be thankful. I don't know if I'm doing it right, I'm sure I'll take plenty of missteps, but I think it's about being aware and being present." Well said, Blake.
