Blake Shelton opened up about his divorce from Miranda Lambert during an in-studio radio appearance [1] on The Bobby Bones Show on Wednesday. The couple split [2] in July, and Blake revealed that the whole thing happened quickly. "In Oklahoma, it happens so fast," he said. "Like, Miranda and I didn't have any kids, and we had a prenuptial agreement, or whatever we had. So it was like once we filed for divorce . . . it was like a nine- or 10-day waiting period until it's over." He explained, "We knew if rumblings and rumors started coming out, they would just be that. By the time anybody knew anything, it was over. It was done." Still, Blake says that he and his ex are in a good place. "Our whole thing was, we are going to be cool about this. It is what it is," he said. "We're buddies."
