If you ever thought Britney Spears was too amazing to be human, you were right (well, sort of). The singer took to Instagram on Thursday to share a cute photo of her and her niece, Lexie, swimming in a pool while wearing mermaid outfits. Britney captioned the snapshot, "Found the cutest little mermaid." The photo comes almost two weeks after Lexie, who is the daughter of Britney's older brother, Bryan, put her cuteness on display when she accompanied her famous aunt to the Teen Choice Awards [2] on Aug. 16. Earlier this month, Britney also posted another mermaid photo with her two sons, Sean and Jayden [3], captioned, "The mermaid life."

And Britney isn't the only one getting in on the underwater trend. Kim and Kourtney Kardashian recently shared photos of North West and Penelope Disick in adorable mermaid outfits [4] while vacationing in St. Barts.
