Britney Spears Rumored to Be Publishing an Autobiography

Would You Read Britney's Autobiography?

Rumor has it that Britney Spears is writing her autobiography and is already in talks to sign a publishing deal for approximately $14 million. She supposedly has a literary agent and is working out the details for a possible series of three to five books. Most of you enjoyed watching For the Record when we got a chance to see the world through Britney's eyes, but the book would be a more in-depth look at her life thus far. We still haven't heard anything from the singer herself, but we want to know what you think — if she wrote one, would you read Britney's autobiography?

If the book was really honest and in-depth, then I would probably read it. But let's be honest here...Britney wouldn't write a book, a ghostwriter would.

I love Britney, but I have to agree with Jude here, I wouldn't really read an autobiography because clearly she's not a writer. I wouldn't read a biography of her either, because I'm sure dlisted and popsugar will spill all of the juicy details when it comes out anyway and I won't have to waste my precious time reading a whole book about Brit. I mean, if I had time to read more, I would choose real books!

i would probably read it. i'm always looking for something to read at the gym that doesn't really make me upset if i miss parts of it from the workout. :) you also have to know that so many folks would like to hear more about what she's lived through.

Agree billyart101. I would want an HONEST account--and I want to find out things we didn't all already know.

I'd ONLY be interested if it were a true in-depth tell all. I want all the dirt from the Christina/Britney rivalry, the real details of her first night with Justin (right down to size if you know what I mean), every conversation with Madonna word for word, and after that stuff I'd stop reading. HOWEVER, you don't get the real dirt from the A-listers...they're too delusional to be honest. That's why Dreamgirls: My Life as a Supreme was a fabulous book turned broadway musical turned movie because the Supreme left of center gave all the dish about Diana and her co-horts at Motown. Diana's own autobiography was trash. This will probably be all full of affirmations and how she reconnected with god, meaning no-truth-whatsoever.

Hell no. And I don't intend to focus on her music either.

I'm curious how she would phonetically spell the noise that bubble gum makes as it pops inside her mouth. Not quite "pop." It would be more guttural and echo-y, right? Worth reading, maybe -- but not purchasing.

I read her Mama's; it was good. Yes. And not just b/c I'm a fan. She's at the top of the pop game and haters are just that.

NO. I'd rather not focus on her music, either.

Answer is a big fat NO. Her life has been publicly displayed for all to see. More than I'm sure most care to see. Another poor little rich girl story? No thanks. There needs to be some element of mystery to celebrities so they don't lose that "it" factor.

I wasn't aware that she knew how to read, let alone write. I hope the ghostwriter's getting paid well.
