Cameron Diaz Shows Her Long Legs and Bright Style at Dinner

Cameron Diaz hugged a friend after dinner at LA's Mercato di Vetro restaurant last night. She was dressed perfectly for a California Summer night, in a bright red top, sandals, and miniskirt. She finished the colorful look off with a yellow bag. Cameron's on the West Coast after a stint in NYC. She may soon be called to London, where her costars in The Counselor, Brad Pitt and Michael Fassbender, have been shooting. Cameron's got many projects in the works, but the one possibly getting the bulk of her attention is actually a literary effort. HarperCollins Publishers just confirmed that Cameron Diaz's writing a fitness and nutrition book. Her work is due out next Fall, and will focus on themes of "health, fitness, nutrition and general well-being."
