Camila Cabello and boyfriend Matthew Hussey have called it quits on their relationship [1]. People confirmed that the 22-year-old singer and 32-year-old British dating coach split after more than a year of dating. They reportedly developed a romance in February 2018 after meeting on the set of the Today show. The following year, they made their official red carpet debut as a couple at Vanity Fair's Oscars afterparty [2].

Camila and Matthew's decision to part ways comes around a busy time for the "Havana" songstress. She's currently working on a follow-up album to her eponymous 2018 album Camila, which marked the start of her career as a solo artist since breaking from Fifth Harmony. Recently, she dropped a steamy music video with Shawn Mendes [3] for the track "Señorita [4]." She's also collaborating with Ed Sheeran [5] on his upcoming album, No. 6 Collaborations Project.

On June 22, Camila opened up about her second album on Instagram [6], telling fans, "I always get so insecure during the process and feel so much self-doubt but listening back, I just feel like . . . at the very least, I hear my f*cking soul in these songs. I can see the memories in them. It's extremely painful, beautiful, cathartic, and just a sh*t show of emotions, but it's the reason I love this."
