During a photo op session at Salt Lake Comic Con in 2015, Captain America costars Chris Evans and Hayley Atwell were present when a man cosplaying as Chris's Marvel character popped the question to girlfriend Kelsey Jenkins, who was dressed as Black Widow. "Today at #SLCC15 in the middle of a photo op with Chris and I, a man got down on his knee and proposed with a ring to his girlfriend," Hayley wrote about the proposal in a now-deleted tweet [4]. "It was one of the most moving and beautiful things I have been witness to. Congratulations to you both. May you have a blissful future."

She happily said "yes" with the support of thousands of screaming JT fans.

During Bey's Formation World Tour concert in St. Louis this September, she helped her choreographer and creative director, John Silver, ask his longtime girlfriend to marry him. The lucky lady in question happened to be Beyoncé's dance captain, Ashley Everett, who got the surprise of a lifetime in the middle of "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)." The best part? Once she had the sparkler on her finger, Ashley absolutely nailed the rest of the "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" choreography.

Die-hard How I Met Your Mother [7] fans might remember the moment in the season two finale when Robin mistakenly thinks Ted is proposing to her at dinner because of an engagement ring in her champagne glass, but it was actually meant for the couple sitting behind them. It turns out that wasn't a normal part of the episode — it was a real-life wedding proposal between Tim Russo and his very shocked girlfriend, Jana Rugan. Tim orchestrated the whole thing by telling Jana they were cast as extras, and then getting a staff writer on the show (who happened to be his close friend) to write the proposal into the finale. To top it all off, Sara even shows up to both moments so she can sing a live performance of her song while Aly and Matt do their thing.

At Lady Gaga [11]'s October 2014 artRave: The ARTPOP Ball tour stop in Manchester, she helped her "incredible friend" Jay pop the question to his boyfriend, Shawn. After she led them both onstage and introduced them to the audience, Jay got down on one knee. After Shawn said "yes," Gaga gave them each a huge hug and serenaded them with a heartfelt rendition of "Born This Way." She also addressed the crowd with a touching message. "My record label, a long time ago, they told me that my show is 'too gay' and I was 'too gay' or this was 'too gay,'" she told them. "I told them, 'Well, it's a great thing that there are gay people all over the world!' Real human beings with real dreams and real stories and you deserve to love and express your love the same as everybody around the world. I wish you a beautiful love and happy marriage."

Isaiah Mustafa might be known for his chiseled abs and hilarious Old Spice ads, but the actor also helped a fan propose to his girlfriend. It's a tradition in Ireland on Leap Day for women to forgo gender roles and propose to their boyfriends instead of the other way around. Adele is well-aware of the fun custom, so to kick off her 25 world tour in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in March, the "When We Were Young" [14] singer helped a fan propose to her boyfriend on stage. Thanks to Adele's guiding hand, the man, named Neil, finally said yes.
