Celebrities are mourning Riverdale [1] actor Luke Perry after he died on Monday morning [2] following a massive stroke. The 52-year-old actor was rushed to the hospital [3] on Feb. 27, where he was put "under observation" before his death. Best known for his reign as '90s heartthrob Dylan McKay on Beverly Hills, 90210 [4] and starring in Joss Whedon's Buffy the Vampire Slayer film, Perry's star rose several more notches recently with his role as Fred Andrews on the CW teen drama Riverdale [5].
