If you aren't already obsessed with Chance the Rapper [1], you're about to be. On Monday, the Grammy winner [2] held a press conference at Westcott Elementary School to announce his plans to donate $1 million to Chicago Public Schools, the third largest school district in the country. His announcement comes days after he met with Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner [3] to talk about school funding. "Today I'm proud to announce that I am donating $1 million to CPS to support arts and enriching programming," the 23-year-old rapper said. "I'm excited to share that this donation was made possible by my fans."

Chance's kind act certainly didn't go unnoticed; hours later, Michelle Obama gave him a sweet shout-out on Twitter, calling him "an example of the power of arts education."
