Britney Spears and Charlie Ebersol are having completely different reactions to their breakup. On Monday, Charlie took to Instagram with a selfie video that shows him snuggling and kissing his dog. Randy Newman's "You've Got a Friend in Me," which you may remember from Toy Story, plays in the background of the mini music video.

Perhaps the following caption Charlie included is even more telling:

We are nothing if we are not a collection of the scars, tattoos, and smiles of a life well lived. I wish for you today, that you find great joy in the joy you spark in others. If nothing else, I hope you're happy just in knowing that you made me happy. It is never lost on me the love with which I have been blessed. For that, I aim to live up to Colossians 3:12

The TV producer's video came on the same day that reports about the couple's split [2] emerged. In the aftermath, Britney deleted every single picture of Charlie [3] from her Instagram. She changed the discussion by putting her incredible bikini body on display [4] in a picture with a guy on a boat. "So nice to be home! Nothing like Louisiana boys," Britney captioned the Instagram.

The duo last appeared to be on the same page in May, when they made a cute red carpet debut [6] at the Billboard Music Awards, but a source reportedly told Us Weekly that Charlie appeared to be in the relationship "for the wrong reasons." [7]
