David Beckham joined the President of AEG, Tim Leiweke, and the LA Galaxy's head coach Bruce Arena to officially announce his two-year extension with the California soccer club. News of the announcement broke earlier this week, though it wasn't entirely a surprise after David turned down an offer to play for Paris's St-Germain club. Beckham's two-year deal is worth a reported $15 million, which, according to David, will buy plenty of outfits for baby Harper's "ridiculous" wardrobe.
The decision to stay on the West Coast was tough for the Beckhams, but it seems it was the best choice. David said, "My family and I are incredibly happy and settled in America, and we look forward to spending many more years here." Soccer fans will see more of David's fancy footwork when the 2012 season kicks off next month. There will even be a Beckham cameo during the Super Bowl on Feb. 5 when David's shirtless H&M bodywear ad airs during the second quarter.
