Diane Kruger swung by Sirius XM in NYC yesterday to chat about her new movie, Farewell, My Queen, then changed into Louis Vuitton for a night out with her boyfriend, Joshua Jackson. The couple attended an event at the Whitney Museum to celebrate the launch of Louis Vuitton's collaboration with Yayoi Kusama, a Japanese artist known for her colorful prints. Diane and Josh mingled at the bash with other stylish stars like Dianna Agron, Sofia Coppola, and Margherita Missoni. There was a cocktail hour and dinner following the photocall, allowing Diane to catch up with other friends like British actress Alice Eve, as well as Margherita and Dianna.
The arty bash came after the NYC premiere of Farewell, My Queen on Monday. At the screening, Josh talked about seeing Diane all done up as Marie Antoinette while she was making the movie. He said, "I definitely made the effort to go see her in the full queen regalia. It's a one-time thing in an actor's life. It was sexy — period, full stop. I mean, it was kind of a kinky fetish thing with the wigs and the corsets. I don't know how [people] survived that period. Foreplay must've been a sonofab*tch. It takes a nation of millions to get those things on and off."
