Diddy, Usher, and Chris Brown Record "Better on the Other Side" as a Tribute to Michael Jackson — Love It or Leave It?

Diddy, Usher, and Chris Brown Record "Better on the Other Side" as a Tribute to Michael Jackson — Love It or Leave It?

Diddy brought together a handful of musicians, including Usher, Chris Brown, Boyz II Men and more, to record a song in honor of their friend and inspiration Michael Jackson. In less that 24 hours they wrote, recorded, and put together this song as more tributes to the legendary artist pour in. They are all clearly touched by their loss, but we're wondering if you think they could have taken more time to reflect before releasing this track. Let us know your thoughts — love it or leave it?

Gotta love the defence "everybody makes mistakes" when it comes to a guy beating up his girlfriend. Lovely.

this isnt a great song, but i see no harm in them wanted to pay tribute. everyone was shocked by his passing and wanted to do something from the heart to express their grief. if it wasnt for MJ there would be no Chris Brown. he has been succesful because of the road MJ paved for him and I believe he has the right to express his grief. I mean his idol just died... give the guy a break. i know they meant well, but the game and diddy had no place on this track. a real ballad from say justin timberlake, usher and boys 2 men would be great. or something from other original motown artists. im sure there are many more to come.

I feel this song was terrible. This is the King of Pop...MICHAEL JACKSON!!! If you write something in his tribute, it has to be fantastic. You don't just take less than 24 hrs. to write/record/post a song about the greatest entertainer in the world. Chris Brown's chorus was the best part of the song. And I'm glad they put him in =)

seriously, it could be the best tribute ever...but including Chris Brown made that a moot point as I will never listen to it...good job moron

what Chris Brown have done doesn't make him a bad singer O_O people makes mistakes in life, dumbass. he loves MJ, and what's wrong with him collaborating with other artists making a tribute for MJ? it's better than nothing.

I'd rather have Chris Brown recorded a million songs than listen to Diddy on one.

Now is not the time for all of this petty stuff. Have you people not heard of forgiveness. Remember you reap what you sow. What are you sowing? I like the tribute to Michael Jackson from people who cared about him. I see why there is so much hate in the world you people continue to sow those terrible seeds. I had a chance to visit 2300 Jackson Street Thursday night and Friday morning. Thank God I did not find this negative stuff there. We are celebrating Michael's life here in Gary, Indiana. We love the Jackson family and we love Chris Brown a young man who made a mistake. I see many of you don't read the bible. You will be judged by the same judgements that you make. Learn to forgive. You may need it one day.

At the end of the day it just isn't a good song and, therefore, not a very good tribute. Seems like a lame way to get Chris Brown a little good press to me.

I'm disappointed, not because it is a bad tribute but rather because I think they failed to capture what Michael would have wanted his legacy to be. Sure he contributed lots to the music business and gave generations music to appreciate. However i don't think this tribute does justice to him. I think it was rushed. I don't mind that they included Chris Brown. The combination of artists speak to the impact Michael had on all artists over the last several decades.
