Do You Think Kanye Learned His Lesson?

Kanye West has been keeping a very low profile following his outburst during Taylor Swift's acceptance speech during September's MTV VMAs, and now their names are popping up next to each other again — Taylor and Kanye were just named Billboards top female and male performers of the year, respectively. He went on his blog to issue a thank you for that accolade, as well as many other best of 2009 wins, saying in all caps, "WOW!!! SOMETIMES I FEEL LIKE I'M IN A MOVIE. THANK YOU FOR THE HONOR." He accompanied the post with a photo of Taylor Swift, taken from Billboard's website, making it seem like he's at least found peace with their situation. So, tell us — do you think Kanye's learned his lesson?

what a tool, no he hasn't learned...I'd bet this is a problem that goes back to childhood...he really needs to just come out of the closet

...learned what lesson? that he was right? watching swift taking the award over beyonce, gaga, pink?...please! it's like watching "sleepless in seattle" win over "fargo"...everyone's taste is firmly up their rectum on this one...

i think the whole situation can be laid to rest. i'm sick of hearing about it.
I think Kanye has a little mental problem. But I still like his music (Kanye shrug)

he might not ever change but i liked the fact that kanye always was and always be who he wants to be. he speaks his mind which i can appropriate a lot more then celebs who just say what they think fans want to hear. personally i agreed with kanye about taylor winning (though the way he did was harsh)

I don't know if he learned his lesson, but enough with this story! I hated when he did that and felt sorry for Taylor, but the true is, she's been winning with it!

Nah, hasn't changed a bit. Thank God! He's so entertaining! I wouldn't wanna be in a room with him, but I love his music!

Whatever gets him in the news and on magazine covers, he'll do it. Same as any celebrity.

He comes off as such an insincere egomaniac to me.

i want to think that people change but kanye has a track record of outbursts like this so i'm going to say that i think he hasn't yet learned his lesson. i think that if he had learned from anything that has happened over the past few years, then he would be a more mature person. we'll have to see if 2010 is his year
