The new title from Conde Nast is just like the popular Lucky Magazine it is based on. Domino is the third shopping spin-off title following Cargo's launch last year. It has the same stickers to mark you favorite pages. It has the same editors picks up front. It has the same look and feel and well everything else except this time it is home products.
Domino is filled with products, paints, and decorating ideas that are "attainable" for the home. It is not just for homeowners - it has simple ideas for renters to also spice up their place without serious renovations. The products range from a $4,329 Ralph Lauren table to a $5.95 "Starburst" plate. It's nice to mix and match price points and I like that they are trying to appeal to everyone, but let's be honest, if you are not a shelter magazine reader you do not know what the difference between a Parson table and a made-over Ming-style table.
Overall it is a cute, easy to read magazine, but if you not a huge home aficionado, there is no need to read it every month. It is great to get ideas when you know you need some inspiration.
