Dwayne Johnson has been in the spotlight for 20 years now [1], and since his debut at WWE's 1996 Survivor Series, the Brahma Bull has gone from being the most electrifying man in sports entertainment to the most electrifying man in all of entertainment. Even so, there still are a few tidbits you may not know about him, like the fact that he lost his virginity at the age of 14 — yep, you read that right. From his family life [2] to his career highlights, get to know more about Dwayne.

He Comes From a Family of Wrestlers

His grandfather, "High Chief" Peter Maivia, was a WWE superstar and "blood brothers" with The Wild Samoans' father, Amituanai Anoa'i, making them an extended part of the Anoa'i wrestling dynasty [7]. In 2008, The Rock inducted his father, Rocky Johnson, into the WWE Hall of Fame, and his cousin Roman Reigns is currently a wrestler on WWE.

He Has a Degree in Criminology

Before The Rock set his sights on wrestling, he dreamed of playing for the NFL. Sadly, he suffered an injury while attending the University of Miami and was replaced by NFL star Warren Sapp. Instead, he graduated with a degree in criminology in 1995.

He Cowrote an Autobiography

In 2000, Dwayne debuted The Rock Says . . . , a memoir he wrote with author Joseph Layden and the WWE.

He Lost His Virginity at 14 Years Old

In his 2000 autobiography, Dwayne revealed he lost his virginity in high school to a girl named Maria at a public park. He also admitted that a cop car later came and told them to stop halfway through. Talk about awkward!

He Has a Song With Wyclef Jean

Not only can The Rock act, but he's also a pretty darn good singer. In 2000, he was featured in Wyclef Jean's song "It Doesn't Matter" and also starred in the music video.

He's a Canadian Citizen

In 2009, Canada made changes to its nationality law that stated that all people born abroad after 1947 with at least one Canadian-born parent would become citizens, so at 37 years old, Dwayne became a Canadian citizen since his dad was born in Amherst, Canada.
