Elisabeth Explodes

This morning on The View Elisabeth Hasselbeck went nuts when discussing the 72 hour pill. Check out the clip to see how passionate she is and how Barbara had to try to calm her down.

What they don't show is after the commercial break Elisabeth ends up in Barbara's lap hugging it out, and they're making nice with each other. Barbara said she likes Elisabeth being so passionate but you know Ms Hasselbeck had to play nice since everyone on The View these days seems to be dropping like flies. Besides, no one talking about this clip has yet to address Babs and her new hair do....

UPDATE - here's the part where they kiss and make-up

Elisabeth has been ranting all this week. It is great to be passionate, but geesh!! I am not for abortion I can't say that in a case of rape what I would do, so who I am to judge and EH doesn't know what she would do either, until we are faced with that kind of crisis who are we to judge the women who take the pill?

i think that people should be allowed to express their opinions without personal rancour. i would never have an abortion. my personal belief. however, anyone who did would be well within their rights to do so. i believe in God, others dont, I like broccoli, others dont, who's business is it but mine? but i would never take that pill. id give the baby up for adoption to an attractive family who dressed well and were respectaby shallow.

Trixie - Its a problem that I think is all over the place these days. No longer do people just disagree, but everybody is so quick to label others as evil or stupid or whatever. It seems to me that most people probably have good intentions. Simply because somebody has a different perspective than you, and therefore a different answer to the same problem, doesn't make them evil or stupid. That said, Elizabeth got way too excited in this clip. And Bab's a b*tch - as if they all listen to each others opinions!?

i dont like bab's she is a puppeteer. see what happens when someone tries to give an opinion and bab's thinks it is too controversial. its about time elizabeth got passionate about something and i wanted to hear what she had to she turns into santa claus and has the wittle elizabeth sit on her lap to make amends. weird!

ATTENTION: What did Barbara say after Elizabeth responded with " I heard everything you said, I'm just imphatic(sp?)with?" It sounded like Barbara said "I really started" That can't be right because I didn't sound like something the audience would laugh at and it doesn't make sense in that conversation. It made the whole audience laugh but I can't understand what Barbara said for them to laugh like that. Hope someone can help so late?

There's nothing wrong with this generation or children or teenagers right's the world it's messed up! You have people telling other people what to do, for example, you have anti-abortion and pro-lifers NOT minding their own business and involving themselves in the LIFE CHOICES of other women...this is a democracy, that's not how it works people. Women have the right to do whatever they want with their bodies, and this "choice" has nothing to do with their lifestyle, their ethnicity, or their socio-economic class. The problem is with EDUCATION - we don't educate our children appropriately about sex because parents belief systems intrude on that or whatever it is...not being comfortable even talking about sex either with their children. Don't you see the irony? Our society and media is obsessed over sex and violence, yon I can't see how anyone can be anti-abortion or pro-liet parents cannot even address the issues of sex, pregnancy, STDs, HIV,etc with their OWN CHILDREN?!! We're a puritancial, full of B.S. society, we need to get over our own insecurities and realize that education is VERY important. And the government does not reflect this AT ALL, we spend ZERO money on education and BILLIONS of dollars on WAR. All this hoopla over abortion and we're not even aware of the fact that WAR is killing more HUMANS (who are actually living and not a bunch of embryonic cells) then "unborn children" (who have no awareness of being alive). If you're not ready to have a kid, you're just not, and at least we have the right to choose this option, and those who do not should not take that right away...just because you wouldn't do it, doesn't mean you have to FORCE others to do what you think is right. That's called facism...and I'd prefer not to go down that path, even though we're pretty close to it right now.

hmmmm...well to each his own........I could say a whole lot here but my opinion really won't make a difference..

Elisabeth is unbearable, worse than Star Jones IMO. She is not capable of having a rational discussion like many people with the same backwards views. I guess to her people that masturbate are also comitting millions of abortions each day, after all, those are also seeds that are being prevented from reaching the ovary lol.

Great point dovima.

it is easy to say you don't think it should be readily available until YOU [or a friend/realitive] are the one who needs it...just think about what you would do and who exactly is caring for all of the unwanted rape babies anyway?

afaik, this isn't shown in Australia But... I want Barbara as my Nanna!! Please can you adopt me as your granddaughter? Pretty please?!

I dont get why people care about this dumbest group of women in our society. I rather listen to a 5 year old's opinion than any of these stupid women.

Once again, i agree tox. You cannot always blame the parents. Even girls from the most respectable homes can become pregnant. We need to be realistic and educate kids.

See Im not thinking thats its all the parents causing this. BC My mother in law has raised 4 other children that are awesomly great. But her 14 year old it doesnt matter what he is insane completly. To him and other boys his age getting a girl pregnant is like a flipping joke to them.

I'm a teacher and there is def. something wrong w/ the current generation. Very strange.
t0xxic t0xxic 11 years
Oh no it needs to stay a Dr prescribed or clinic prescribed maybe even school conselor given thing. We do not need it over the counter to many girls will abuse it and hurt them selves.
Lia Lia 11 years
well at least they had their babies and gave them a chance at life. I knew many girls from HS that HAD babies at 15-17 also. I also have 3 baby cousins who were adopted and its so nice to see their parents so happy now b/c they tried so hard and waited so long for these beautiful children.

I agree there is something going on with the current generation, and I think it is a lack of parental supervision and morals...anything goes...and so it does...
SailorMarie SailorMarie 11 years
I agree this is a slipperly slope, much like legalizing gay marriage...once you go down that road...people will be "disposing" of babies all over the place...and when does it stop??? I do agree in SEVERE circumstances it is necessary...but should absolutely not be readily available...
