Fashion Rocks Tonight!

Tonight on CBS is the second annual Fashion Rocks concert. The show is to help kick off Olympus Fashion Week in NYC. Expect excellent performances from Beyonce (wearing a banana skirt), Elton, Christina, Fergie and more.

Beyonce is looking like she is trying to pull a Britney Spears circa 2001? Even the dance moves--she is so unoriginal, well except for that outfit, that's pretty original. I've never seen anything like it---bananas and diamonds? SOO couuture! She isn't impressive at all, i'm actually really tired of her act, she just immitates everyone else a few years after the fact. I really liked her with Destiny's Child but now she's just trying too hard to be sexy. Christina is also pulling a Gwen Stefani with the sailor look...but she has the talent to back it up.

Homage to the zoo. Fergie's voice is SO bad. Those Pussy Dolls suck big time. I wish they would implode like the Spice Girls did.

OMG - What is Beyonce wearing? I guess it's an homage to Josephine Baker. I'm not feelin it though. And if Josephine Baker was still alive she'd snatch that sorry weave off her head and show her who's the real diva! Fuggy Ferg looks like she fell in a vat of toxic waste, but I am kinda feelin her song..."My London-London-London..."

Oh Beyonce, just when I was giving you credit like crazy. =( And I DISLIKE THOSE P-CAT dolls so much! I didn't watch this so I do not know if Christina's outfit matches her performance, but knowing her she's probably singing a really slow ballad.

Yes, Beyonce has a hot body. But I feel like she has showcased it in barely there outfits, shaking her thing the same old way for so long, it is getting boring! When you show your entire body off all the time, what was once tantalizing becomes common place. I am so over Beyonce. I used to really like her, but I am tired of her and her repetition. Her songs are all about the same things, sung the same way, over a video that shows the same jungle choreography. Boring!

LoL. The first thing that came to mind when I saw Beyonce's banana skirt was Gwen Stefani singing," This $h1+ is bananas: B-A-N-A-N-A-S!" O well, at least she's wearing pantyhose to avoid any potential embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions. The only thing is that in one of the pics you can see the the granny panty shaped support on the upper half of the hosiery.

i certainly agree with u gracey she has a smoking hot body but that outfit???...& yes i'm very critical like every women on earth...but trust me i think that men r also critical about themselves & each others (the perfect exemple highschool,society..) why??bc we're human we always gotta look in the 'field of the others'..it's innate ,that's what makes the world go round & by the same time go forward...but in the case of b???damn!her skirt is really hideous!!!!

That's so true, Gracey. Men seem to prefer curves, too. I've lost some weight ( went down from 120 lbs down to 110) and my guy HATES it. He liked me better when I had my big booty! LOL
