It has truly been an action-packed year for Gal Gadot. The Wonder Woman actress starred in one of the highest-grossing movies of the year [2], hosted Saturday Night Live [3], and quickly became a household name. With all of that excitement going on, Gal recently shared with Entertainment Weekly one of her favorite memories from working on the film [4] — a sweet moment that took place at home with her daughter.

Following the release of Wonder Woman, Gal was awaiting reviews at her house. She had put her eldest daughter Maya [5] to bed, however, it became clear that she wasn't falling asleep. Gal then decided that she'd bring over her computer, read some reviews, and sit by her daughter's side until she fell asleep. Upon seeing the positive feedback, Gal immediately called director Patty Jenkins.

"The moment I called Patty she answered the phone — it didn't even ring. She immediately picks up," Gal said. "She's all, 'What's going on? I've been meditating for 20 minutes, not reading anything, literally waiting for you to call me.' I was just screaming: 'Ahhhhh!'"

Maya instantly got excited and asked what was going on. Gal told her, "People are liking the movie. See, if you work hard enough and you have good intentions sometimes in life people appreciate it." With tears in her eyes, Maya said, "I'm proud of you mommy!" Of the incredibly heartwarming moment, Gal said, "That was a moment I'll never forget as a parent and a mother. It was a very special thing." Aw!
