Ahead of Derek Jeter's upcoming retirement from baseball, Gatorade released a touching "Made in New York" ad to pay tribute to his time as a New York Yankee. The ad was filmed this past July, when Gatorade roped off a few blocks around the stadium [1] and "just kind of let Jeter go." He meandered the streets, surprising fans and thanking them for their support. This isn't the first ad to honor Jeter — Nike's "Re2pect" commercial [2] went viral over the Summer, with stars like Jay Z and Michael Jordan [3] paying their respects to Jeter in the ad. To celebrate the baseball player's career, take a look at Derek Jeter's hottest moments [4], then check out the moving Gatorade ad above.
