Glenn Close might not have won an Oscar [1] at the 91st Academy Awards [2] on Sunday, but she did give us a couple dramatic performances. When Lady Gaga [3] walked by Glenn after winning the Oscar for best original song [4], Glenn took Lady Gaga [5]'s hand and straight-up grazed it across her cheek with her eyes closed — honestly, wouldn't you have done the same? Earlier in the evening, Glenn also made us all laugh when she had the hands-down best reaction to seeing Melissa McCarthy [6] on the red carpet in a gorgeous pantsuit [7].
The 71-year-old actress was nominated for best actress [8] for her role as Joan Castleman in The Wife [9], but Olivia Colman took home the big award [10] for her work in The Favourite [11]. Even though we didn't get a would-be iconic speech from Glenn, at least we can appreciate this adorable moment between her and another icon, Lady Gaga [12].
