Gwen Stefani was named icon of the year [1] at Glamour's Women of the Year Awards in LA on Monday night. During her acceptance speech [2], Gwen held back tears as she spoke about her childhood, saying, "I was thinking back and I was thinking about my parents, who loved me the most out of anyone, and they planted a seed within me when I was a little girl, and it was a seed of faith." She also touched on her split from ex-husband Gavin Rossdale [3], adding, "I was so low that I didn't think there was any way I could pick myself back up," but perhaps the best moment of the night was when she gave boyfriend Blake Shelton [4] a sweet shout-out. "To Blake Shelton for kissing me back to life, thank you so much. I am blown away. I'm blown away by this room of unbelievable courage. It's unbelievable to be here tonight. I am really, really grateful," she gushed.
Gwen and Blake have been going strong [5] for a year now, and throughout their time together, they've shared plenty of cute moments together, including their PDA-filled lunch date [6] in LA last month. More recently, rumors have been swirling that she and Blake have set a wedding date [7], though Blake and Gwen have yet to confirm anything.
