Stars celebrated Valentine's Day [1] last weekend with their friends and lovers, but not many spent the sweet day with their exes! Though Gwyneth Paltrow [2] and Chris Martin [3], who have remained close since announcing their separation nearly a year ago, did just that. The two met up at a beach in Malibu [4] with their kids and shared family time in the sand. It wasn't all about the children, though, since Gwyneth and Chris, who wore a "love" button, sat together and chatted while they watched Apple and Moses play.

Gwyneth recently opened up about her unconventional arrangement with Chris, telling Marie Claire [5] that "we're very, very close, and it's so nice. I feel like it's, in a way, the relationship we were meant to have."
