Princess Anne and Mark Phillip's only son is the queen's first grandchild. In an article he wrote for The Telegraph about the Patron's Lunch in 2016, Peter opened up about his special bond [4] with his grandmother. "I've always been very close to my grandmother, and we speak often," he wrote. "She has been an inspirational person throughout my life, so to be able to do something like this for her is an honor."
Zara Tindall, 37
Princess Anne and Mark Phillips's equestrian daughter [5] is Elizabeth's oldest granddaughter. In May 2013, Zara called her grandmother "an inspiration" and attributed her can-do attitude to the queen [6].
