Janice Dickinson Accuses Bill Cosby of Sexual Assault

Nov 19 2014 - 7:03am

Janice Dickinson claimed in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight [1] that she was sexually assaulted by Bill Cosby back in 1982. Janice said the incident happened in Lake Tahoe after she was invited there by Bill to discuss a potential appearance on The Cosby Show. According to Janice, he offered her a glass of red wine and a pill, which she had asked for because she was experiencing menstrual cramps. She continued, "The next morning I woke up and I wasn't wearing my pajamas, and I remember before I passed out that I had been sexually assaulted by this man. Before I woke up in the morning, the last thing I remember was Bill Cosby in a patchwork robe, dropping his robe and getting on top of me. And I remember a lot of pain. The next morning I remember waking up with my pajamas off and there was semen in between my legs." Janice also said that she wanted to talk about the alleged assault in her 2002 autobiography, No Lifeguard on Duty: The Accidental Life of the World's First Supermodel, but her publisher was pressured by Bill's lawyers to drop the story.

Janice is hardly the only woman to accuse Bill of sexual assault. Over the years, the comic has been accused of sexually assaulting at least 13 women, but only one case ever made it to court. The allegations popped back up in October when comedian Hannibal Buress slammed Bill during a comedy set [2] for "raping women." The renewed interest in the allegations has forced Bill to pull out of an appearance on Late Show With David Letterman and caused Netflix to put a hold on his comedy special [3] Bill Cosby 77.
