Jennifer Aniston was interviewed by none other than her We're the Millers costar Jason Sudeikis for the Glamour September issue, which hits newsstands on Aug. 6. Jennifer got very candid with her friend Jason, talking about her fiancé Justin Theroux's surprising paternal instincts, what advice she would give herself when she was younger, and how she once came to Olivia Wilde's defense after she gave a controversial monologue on divorce and her sex life at a 2012 Glamour event. Jason said, "You wrote Olivia a really, really kind email last year. You were so nice when she got a lot of flak for a monologue she performed." Jennifer responded, "Well, that was because I felt so strongly about it, when I heard what she was going through. I was so pissed. Because I related to it — I related to that f*ck*ng feeling of people just wanting to rip down the powerful, beautiful woman who [speaks her mind]. We're living in a time where, whether it's the Internet or tabloids, being sh*tty has become a sport. We're just grown-up bullies. We literally could not need to have our hearts more open than in these times." Keep reading for more from Jennifer Aniston's interview with Glamour.
Jennifer also briefly touched on her relationship with Justin after Jason said that he felt that women were better at showing parental skills. Jennifer said, "I think that's just you! I know Justin, for instance, has extremely amazing paternal instincts. Because [growing up] he had to sort of become the parent. I think when you have to become the parent when you're a younger person, you learn those instincts." The actress also revealed that she had some choice advice for herself during her thirties, saying, "Go to therapy. Clean up all of the sh*t. Clean up all of the toxins and the noise. Understand who you are. Educate yourself on the self."
