It's no secret that Ben Affleck loves the Red Sox, but, apparently, when you are married to him, you have to put up with his superstitious antics. Jennifer Garner stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and revealed just how fanatical Ben is about his hometown team. The actress said that becoming a Red Sox fan is "one of the many deals you make with the devil" when you get married to Ben, and her husband will sometimes make her move to different parts of the couch if it looks like the team is losing. Of course, Jennifer famously joked about how she credits her marriage to the Red Sox winning the 2004 World Series as she and Ben first went public at one of the games. "If they hadn't won that year, I don't think I'd be married with three kids," Jennifer said earlier this year. “Because I think I would have been considered a jinx. Boston fans are pretty serious about superstition. They really think they can control it by what shirt they wear and where they sit — the whole thing.”
Back on Kimmel, Jennifer showed off a glitter-covered rally cap that the couple's daughters made for Ben. Apparently the cap has been working as the Red Sox are currently leading over the St. Louis Cardinals 3-2.
Jennifer also joked with Kimmel about Ben getting pulled into his feud with Kanye West after the rapper tweeted an angry jab about Jimmy and Ben's faux romance back when he was angry at the late-night host. Apparently, Kanye's "#NoDisrespecttoBenAffleck" hashtag has inspired a lot of fun between Jen and Ben.
