Jensen Ackles Benevolently Gifts the World With Another Stunning Rock Performance

The fact that Jensen Ackles can sing — and really well, at that — is perhaps one of our favorite little-known pieces of information about him. This month, he returned with his rendition of "Whipping Post," originally performed by the Allman Brothers Band. The TV star sang the number to screaming fans at JaxCon, a Supernatural convention that happened in Jacksonville, FL, earlier this month. To sweeten the deal, his costar Mark Sheppard even backed him on drums! Jensen, of course, first blew us away with his covers of "Sister Christian" and "Seven Bridges Road" last year, but we quickly realized he has a whole slew of astounding renditions under his belt.
