John Mulaney brought his comedy skills to Saturday Night Live [1] for a second time on March 2, and while the night was full of hilarious skits [2] and impressions, I couldn't help but notice an extra special tribute as he closed out the episode [3]. John waved goodbye to audiences wearing a t-shirt with a film noir style image of a woman on it, and that woman happens to be his wife of almost five years, Annamarie Tendler [4]. Even better, she made a matching shirt for SNL cast member Pete Davidson too.
It's no surprise Annamarie can throw together a couple of t-shirts featuring "the only good photo" John said he's ever taken (his words, not mine). She's a talented textile artist and creates silk lampshades [5], weaves tapestries, and embroiders pendants. She may want to think about expanding her business, though. Now that Pete's worn her shirt for date night with Kate Beckinsale [6], fans are probably going to start requesting their own.
