The Met Gala went down in NYC on Monday, and in addition to the night's theme providing gorgeous fashion from some of our favorite stars [1], there was also a glaring theme among some of the younger guests: a lot of them have dated Justin Bieber [2]. The "I'm the One" [3] singer's most famous ex, Selena Gomez [4], was in attendance with her boyfriend, The Weeknd [5], and some of his past flings, including Hailey Baldwin and Sofia Richie, were also there. And in another weird twist of fate, Justin's rumored new girlfriend, Pitch Perfect 2 star Hailee Steinfeld [6], also made an appearance. A fan snapped a photo of Justin meeting up with Hailee [7] after the big night, but she recently shut down dating rumors [8]. While we don't think his exes became best friends while bonding in the bathroom [9] (besides pals Hailey and Kendall Jenner), it was pretty odd seeing them all pop up at the same event. Hollywood is a small world, y'all.
Hailey Baldwin
Justin and Hailey became more than friends over the holidays in 2015 when they jetted off to a tropical location to ring in the New Year together. Justin posted a snap of the pair sharing a passionate kiss [11], but things fizzled out soon after they returned. Hailey told E! News that April, "We are not an exclusive couple. [12] He's about to go on tour. Relationships at this age are already complicated, but I don't really like to talk about it because it's between me and him."
Sofia Richie
Justin and Nicole Richie [13]'s little sister struck up a romance at the end of the Summer of 2016. They were spotted holding hands during a trip to Japan [14] in August and Sofia also posted a cute selfie of them together on Instagram. The two reportedly went their separate ways that September because Justin wasn't looking for a relationship [15].
Kendall Jenner
While Justin and Kendall, who have been friends for years, were never officially a couple, rumors swirled that they were hooking up back in 2015 [16]. The rumors were also reportedly the reason why Selena Gomez abruptly stopped hanging out with Kendall and Kylie [17]. Kendall attended this year's Met Gala with her rumored new boyfriend, A$AP Rocky [18].
Selena Gomez
Justin's most serious relationship has been his on-again, off-again saga with Selena Gomez [19]. There were a few breakups and makeups between 2010 and 2013 before they appeared to split for good. But the two fueled reconciliation rumors when they were spotted together [20] on not one but two occasions in November 2015. Selena has since moved on and hit this year's red carpet with her boyfriend, The Weeknd [21].
Hailee Steinfeld
While the other women have all dated Justin in the past, rumors began swirling recently that Hailee may be dating Justin right now. TMZ reported that the pair has been quietly seeing each other [22] for a little over a month now after being introduced by the pastor of the church they both attend. However, Us Weekly reported that the two are not dating [23], and that Hailee is still in a relationship with Cameron Smoller, whom she began dating last year. The actress also recently denied the dating rumors [24] in a radio interview, saying they're just good friends.
