Justin Theroux broke his social media silence since splitting from Jennifer Aniston [3]. On Sunday, the actor and animal rights advocate posted a gallery of photos with a handful of teeny-tiny pit bull puppies during a visit to the Austin Pets Alive shelter in Texas. "Another very inspiring visit with the incredible people and pups @austinpetsalive," Justin captioned the snaps. "I cannot understand how they do what they do, day after day, so consistently and lovingly to save so many dogs and cats." He also HIGHLY recommended "getting your nose bit by a toothless baby pitbull." Justin also hashtagged his photos with #selenagomez in an effort to get more eyes on them — smart!
Justin and Jennifer announced their separation in a joint statement [5] earlier this month. Both stars have been keeping a low profile as of late; Justin canceled an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert [6], though Jennifer was spotted heading to a film studio [7] in LA. Listen, we all know that dogs pick up on energy, so we're sure these adorable pit bull pups were thrilled to have a handsome, newly single man in their midst.
