How Kate Hudson and Danny Fujikawa's 14-Year-Long Friendship Turned Into Romance

Kate Hudson and boyfriend Danny Fujikawa are expecting their first child together! The couple announced the exciting news with an adorable gender reveal video on Instagram last week, but that's just one of the countless sweet moments they've shared since they first got together in December 2016. Fun fact: Kate and Danny were actually friends for 14 years before they started dating.

"The first time I met Danny, I was 23 and enormously pregnant with Ryder. His stepsisters are my best friends, Sara and Erin Foster, and so it goes we have been in the same circle for over a decade!" Kate wrote on Instagram in December 2017. "A year ago today, Danny took me on a hike and what I thought was just a hike with a family friend turned very quickly into an unexpected first date. No moves were made on this first date. In fact, it took months for him to make a first move!"
