Kate Middleton is back from maternity leave! After giving birth to her third child, Prince Louis [1], in April, the duchess returned to her royal duties when she visited Sayers Croft Forest School and Wildlife Garden in London on Tuesday, Oct. 2. Casually dressed in brown skinny jeans, an olive green sweater, a matching jacket, and brown boots [2], Kate looked relaxed and carefree as she chatted with teachers at the school and adorably mingled with some of the school children [3].

Kate has generally stayed out of the spotlight during her maternity leave, but she has attended a few special events with the royal family, such as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding [4], Trooping the Colour [5], and Prince Louis's royal christening [6]. Even though Kate is returning to her royal duties, she might not attend Princess Eugenie's upcoming nuptials [7]. While her children Princess Charlotte and Prince George are expected to play a special role [8] in the bridal party [9], her sister, Pippa Middleton, is due to give birth to her first child around the same time.
