Kate Middleton made her second royal appearance of the week at The Fostering Network in London on Friday. The pregnant princess covered her baby bump in a brown dress [1] and spent the day speaking with foster caregivers during her visit. The Fostering Network is a UK-based organization that showcases the work of foster caregivers providing support to children in need of homes. Many of the cute kids were on hand for the event and seemed overjoyed by the royal arrival. They handed her bouquets of flowers, and true to form, she knelt down to chat and share stories with them — there's something about Kate with kids that just gets us every time!

Kate, who is currently expecting her second child with Prince William, has been getting back to her official engagements after lying low during the Christmas holidays. On Thursday, she helped open the Clore Art Room at London's Barlby Primary School and was positively glowing while checking out the little ones' special art projects [2].
