Prince William and his wife, Kate, attended the first day of the London Paralympics events this morning. They were at London's Velodrome, seated with William's aunt Sophie, Countess of Wessex, and her daughter, Lady Louise Windsor, to watch a cycling event. Kate and William are close with Louise — she was even one of the flower girls at their April 2011 royal wedding. Kate and William were later seen leaving the stadium together, wearing matching Adidas sneakers.
Last night, we saw William and Kate at the Paralympic opening ceremony along with Queen Elizabeth. William's brother, Harry, who's dealing with fallout from his nude Vegas picture scandal, did not attend despite reports he might. Harry may emerge to watch later events during the Paralympics, while William and Kate are both expected in the stands at various events over the next week.
