Kate Winslet stopped off for a taping of The Graham Norton Show in London yesterday. The actress looked like she was having a blast during the interview, which airs this evening. Kate even stayed lighthearted when talking about the harrowing fire she was caught in at Richard Branson's Necker Island estate over the Summer. Kate says the whole experience was "like a movie" and said she was surprised by her first instinct. Winslet said, "In disastrous moments you do the strangest things. I started to put on a bra and thought 'that's going to take too long' so off came the bra on came the t-shirt."
As for her hero moment of saving Richard Branson's mother, Kate said, "I grabbed the children and I picked up granny. We were at the top of some slippery stone steps." While the tragedy may have destroyed Branson's gorgeous estate, something good did come of it — it sparked a new love for Kate. Kate Winslet and Branson's nephew Ned Rocknroll are now dating after being brought closer together by the experience.
