After going through one heck of a year, Kesha [2] is coming back stronger than ever [3]. The singer took to Instagram on Sunday to open up about her battle with depression, her eating disorder, and how she's determined to turn it all around. "I have been battling depression and an eating disorder for a while now," she wrote alongside a photo of her sticking her middle fingers high in the air. "My career is in a strange place and it feels like I'm fighting an uphill fight some days. but I have decided to take my life back. my freedom. my happiness. my voice. my worth. I will not just f*cking be quiet and hide. today I will say f*ck it and live. So F******CK it. today I'm making that choice. AND IM HAPPY AS A DAMN CLAM. and also a big ol f*ck u if u wanna hate on my body. just remember that makes u look like a d*ckhead. ✌🏼️"

Amid her ongoing legal battle with Dr. Luke [4], the singer, who completed treatment for her eating disorder back in 2014, has continued to be an inspiration to her fans and celebrities alike [5]. Not only did she give a moving speech [6] at the Human Rights Campaign's Nashville Equality Dinner in March, but she also blew everyone away when she covered Lady Gaga's track "Til It Happens to You," [7] which is about sexual assault. What. A. Warrior. [8]
