Adamman, you truely are obsessed with Brad and Angelina. I'm just saying it's not healthy how much you despise them and then purposely visit and post continuously on their threads. What odd behaviour.

Sorry for double posting, but you at the sugar network aren't exactly helping by using Jennifer and Angelina's pictures in the logo for your "Who is more famous?" game.Kind of a cheap shot...

I love both of them. They are trying to bring awareness to causes many people don't know about.I don't get the logic of some of the people here.Because they do something good, they are self promoting? Get a grip, people. And if you don't like them-fine.But do you need to come here and pick a fight. Can't we all just get along, and agree to disagree. For the record, I really like both Angelina and jennifer, and I have no idea why people are still bringing her up in brangelina posts.Just as the brad/angelina haters needs to stop picking on them for every little thing they do, their fans needs to do the same thing for Jennifer. She seems like a lovely person, and all the hate for her seems completely unwarranted.

Okay first off if this was true first I think that the part would have been inside a closed-door ballroom of the hotel. Second, I'm sure the party was planned ahead of time. Third, unless they wear sleeping in the first or second floor then yeah I could see why the Pitts would be complaining but I doubt they were staying in the first or second floor. Lastly, if this was false I still it's funny. I guess Kid Rock isn't a big fane of the Pitts.

I am glad that Brad and Angelina are using their popularity for something meaningful. They are doing their part, no matter their intent. But, I guess people want their celebrities to be tanning, walking the beach with their dogs and practicing yoga all the time!

:rotfl: I doubt it was Angelina's "work" Brad was impressed with!

I'm back was just explaing a little something to an ignorant person. Why do people feel that attacking someone is the way to prove that Angelina is dope or sucks? The press is and I think in a way the UN is doing that. Any celeb can be an ambassador these days which is good and dandy? I don't know I guess I feel the world's problems are bigger and more complex than they are made out to be and it's hard for a celeb with not much understanding or knowledge of wher things are coming from to do much aside from donating money to help which sometimes gets diverted due to corruption and greed.

blah blah blah same old crap being spouted about things that happened years ago... Thanks Pop. Having to slog through all these same old comments gets pretty boring after awhile. Brad looks so strange in this Benjamin Button get up!

now i've lost you. should they stop bringing attention to one area because no one else is focussing on other areas? i don't think that's the solution. and why get annoyed that they get accolades for their work? that's terrific. let's not stop giving them accolades. to my mind, the solution is to spread the cheers around, not lock them up and stuff them in a safe somewhere. and who or what exactly is making it a money donation contest? or an ambassadorship contest? us, them, the press, the u.n.? i just don't understand where these assertions are coming from.

Yes Deba but then what happens after that? Bashir is still Bashir and Angelina Jolie stands to command more money per movie because of her new found popularity. To me, they gain more from this that the people they seek to help.

nya, i wholeheartedly agree with you. it's fun to post here and weigh in on celebs from time to time, but i've always felt as you do, which is that we need to judge them as who and what they are: human beings, no better and no worse (in my humble opinion). so don't glorify and celebrate every little thing they do which the average person does every day. i am reminded every day of the ways in which all of us, big and small, can contribute. on the other hand, let's not beat down celebrities for trying to better their world in their own way (which, let's face it, is on a bigger stage than the average person's). and i am not saying that you have or are trying to beat them down. :-)

The closest thing would be that in 10 years Lindsay Lohan will be acting what happened to me or something like that.

You know I even think Madonna is in it for her image and she is known to move with the tide and the tide now is charity. I believe she fell for David and wanted to help him and at least she was not promoting an album at the time and did not seek to be revered for her actions, but my problem is like Nya said, these people can afford it and they stand to gain more millions from the sale of their movies. We should not act like they are christ's second coming. They are humans using sad situations mainly to their advantage. Am sure Clooney's publicist told him to hook up with Darfur but the star maniplulator is Angelina Jolie without doubt.
Deba Deba 10 years
I told you before Nya, nobody would care if I go to Darfur to work on the camps and end up dead. But this Angelina, Brad, Bono, Madonna they will always carry attention.
nyaradzom2001 nyaradzom2001 10 years
While I admire Bono I think that he needs to get a clue about Africa as well as does Bob Geldof as long as there are Mugabes and Al-Bashirs down there nothing will ever change. and what ever happened to Asia and South and Central America. They also have their problems. I'm not negating Darfur but heck look at East Timor, I haven't heard of a celebrity highlighting what was happending there.
nyaradzom2001 nyaradzom2001 10 years
Yeah but so do millions of other people, I care you care our parents care but who gives a crap or pats us on the back that we care? Like I mentioned before Carmelo gave more money than more powerful and wealthier celebs last year but really who knew about it. I think while it's cool to bring awareness etc it shouldn't be about who can donate the most money or becoma UN representative and we shouldn't give kudos for something we should do and that is done by normal people every day. Even giving the homeless man on the street a bun is charity. No work should be too great or too small.
Nabs Nabs 10 years
I know, it is a sad situation and when people try to cash in on it, it is an even bigger shame. These people donate one million and make 30 more million from the publicity campaign and the sale of their images and movies. That is why I have such a big problem with Brangelina. For people like Bono, I feel sorry because they sincerely believe their causes but Brad and Angelina, it is about them looking good and being revered by the masses and selling their next movie. I guess that is why there is so much controversy over her charity dos. I don't think every one is jealous of her or just intolerant but I think most people see through her.
Deba Deba 10 years
But Im glad people like them care, even Madonna.
nyaradzom2001 nyaradzom2001 10 years
Raptin I wasn't referring to your post I was just stating what I think:). Hollywood alone can't do it yes but it just bugs me when people are like OMG they donated to a cause or they went to Timbuktu to save the rare African dung beetle etc. They can afford to do it, it isn't too hard on the pocket for them. My point is yeah they have donated but really so what they aren't the first or the last to become charity do-gooders at any given point in time there are millions of people making a difference in other ways. I'm not slamming them just saying that the way people glorify celebs for charity work isn't too cool.
