Lady Gaga [1] and fiancé Christian Carino [2] were in the mood for love during a PDA-filled beach day in Malibu, CA, on Sunday. The couple, who announced their engagement in November 2017, cuddled on the beach, drank coffee, and kissed in her vintage convertible — what an ideal Sunday afternoon, right? The Joanne songstress and her agent-turned-lover were later joined by a friend, whom they chatted with while people-watching and snuggling on the sand. Their outing almost immediately reminded us of a similar beach day between Gaga and her former flame Taylor Kinney, when they took a sweet stroll in Malibu the day after her Golden Globe win [3] in 2016.
Lady Gaga and Christian were first linked in Summer 2017, nearly a year after Gaga and Taylor ended their engagement [5]; since then, we've gotten a glimpse of their chemistry [6] via social media and on cute date nights. Gaga has been lying low since performing at the Grammys in January [7] and canceling her remaining world tour dates [8] in February due to complications from fibromyalgia and chronic pain. She is, however, set to begin a Las Vegas residency [9] later this year. Luckily, she has Christian by her side for all the ups and downs.
