Ever since Caitlyn Jenner made her stunning debut on the cover of Vanity Fair [2] in June, her circle of friends has also turned into her biggest support system. And after Caitlyn hosted a private screening of her upcoming E! docuseries, I Am Cait, on Sunday, that group got a new very important member: Orange Is the New Black star Laverne Cox. Laverne, who has been outspoken about her respect and appreciation for Caitlyn since her transition, posted a cute photo of the pair from the July 19 event on Instagram, captioned, "@caitlynjenner and I finally met in person at a special private advance screening of #IAmCait. #TransIsBeautiful #girlslikeus #caitlynjenner." Laverne also shared a group shot of all the women at the screening, which included the former Olympian's mentor Candis Cayn. Laverne captioned that photo, "Fun with #girlslikeus tonight at the screening of #IAmCait."

The girls' night in comes on the heels of a busy month for Caitlyn. On the Fourth of July, she shared an inspiring message with her fans via Instagram [3] before testing out her new sports car [4] a few days later. She also had a lunch date with her daughter Kendall [5] in LA and made her unforgettable appearance at the ESPYs [6] on July 16.
