Can you imagine waking up in a world where The Beatles, Coca-Cola, and Harry Potter [1] no longer exist?! That, my friends, is not a world I would like to live in. But that's exactly what happens in Danny Boyle's new film Yesterday [2], when wannabe rock star Jack Malik (Himesh Patel [3]) wakes up after a biking accident during a worldwide power outage. While recovering postaccident, he discovers that no one in his life — including best friend and manager Ellie (Lily James [4]) — knows who The Beatles are, so he decides to use this mysterious miracle to his benefit, performing their iconic hits [5] around the globe and becoming the biggest star on the planet.

When we caught up with the film's stars to chat about Yesterday, we had them share a few of the songs that bring them back to important memories in their lives. From the song that reminds them of their time at school . . .
