With this year's two-day Made in America Festival, Jay Z is bringing more than 30 acts to Philadelphia — including his wife, Beyoncé. She took the stage at the end of day one before her sister Solange Knowles performed at an afterparty. Other day-one performances included Phoenix, Imagine Dragons, and deadmau5, and for day two, Solange took the stage again along with artists like Miguel, Wiz Khalifa, and Fitz and the Tantrums.
Jay Z founded the festival last year, and the 2012 event is covered in a new behind-the-scenes documentary from Ron Howard. The Made in America trailer, which was released this week, offers a glimpse into Jay Z's experience with the festival, plus interviews with some of the big-name artists who performed during the two-day event. Set to premiere at the Toronto Film Festival on Sept. 7, the documentary will also air on Showtime on Oct. 11.
