Guy Richie's new movie, Revolver, was bashed by the Hollywood Reporter when it was screened at the Toronto Film Festival. They reported the press:
... warned viewers would be left "bewildered and disappointed" by what the Hollywood Reporter described as "pretentious style and fractured storytelling".
Hollywood Reporter reviewer KIRK HONEYCUTT adds, "The movie spins wildly in circles, continually doubling back on itself, repeating scenes - once even backward - and lines of dialogue until a viewer loses a grip on what is supposed to be real."
Bad news for Mr Richie. Also a major disappointment was the Madonna ad we were so looking forward to. I have not seen the ROKR phone yet, but from what I can tell, Apple got lazy. They should have just waited to created their own phone that would have been some super cool design. Instead it is some lame phone that plays iTunes. Not as impressive as I was hoping. As for the Madonna Motorola iTunes ad, Click here to check it out, but since Apple clearly was not that involved, it's not really that cool. You can also hear a short clip of her first single, Hung Up here.
