While hundreds took to the streets to protest during the Baltimore riots [1] on Monday night, one man captured attention with his performance of Michael Jackson's "Beat It." In a series of videos that have been circulating on social media, the dancer — who's been identified as Dimitri Reeves [2] — is seen channeling the King of Pop while dancing in the street and on top of a truck. Later, in a message that's consistent with the song's lyrics, he tweeted a plea for nonviolence [3], writing, "Spread love and peace never violence." Watch the videos below.
