For the most part, 2016 has been one long, raging dumpster fire [3], but thankfully Mariah Carey and Beyoncé joined forces to make the year a little less of a mess. The two divas met up backstage at the "All I Want For Christmas Is You" [4] singer's concert on Sunday night, where they took not one, but two of the best photos of all time (sorry, Kim [5]). "I love you @beyonce thank you sooooo much for coming out tonight! ❤️😘🎤🙌🏽💋#merrychristmas," Mariah captioned the selfie of her and Beyoncé on Instagram [6].
On Monday, Mariah shared a second snap featuring her kids, Monroe and Moroccan Cannon [7], and Beyoncé's daughter, Blue Ivy Carter [8], writing, "Backstage at Christmas time with our beautiful children. @beyonce 😘 #christmas #family #love." Now all they need to do is release a song together so we can officially wipe all 365 days of 2016 out of our memories forever.
