Two months after splitting from her billionaire fiancé, James Packer [2], the singer was spotted getting hot and heavy on the beach with one of her backup dancers, Bryan Tanaka, in Hawaii. After celebrating Thanksgiving with her ex-husband Nick Cannon [3] and their twins, Monroe and Moroccan, Mariah kicked back and played in the ocean with the 33-year-old; they packed on the PDA, holding hands and sharing a kiss, and at one point, Bryan dipped Mariah and lifted her out of the water. Mariah was also seen lounging on a rock in her cutout bikini (and a healthy dose of diamonds). Shortly after the photos made headlines, Nick posted a slightly petty Instagram photo [4] of him carrying Mariah on the beach that he captioned, "#TBT [5] This is how you do it! LOL."

While Bryan was technically in Hawaii for work [6] — Mariah performed three sold-out shows during her stay — their playful day on the beach pretty much confirmed those lingering romance rumors. After ending her engagement, [7] Mariah was frequently seen out and about with Bryan, and recent promos for her upcoming reality show Mariah's World seem to allude to a larger role for the dancer.
