Mariah Carey [1] and her backup dancer, Bryan Tanaka, sent romance rumors into overdrive this week when they were spotted getting hot and heavy on the beach in Hawaii [2], but the legendary singer isn't quite ready to talk publicly about the new relationship. On Friday, Mariah stopped by the Today show to promote her new docuseries Mariah's World [3] and was asked about the men in her life: her ex-husband Nick Cannon, former fiancé James Packer [4], and Bryan, who is 13 years her junior. After telling Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb that keeping an amicable partnership with Nick [5] is "important for the kids [twins Moroccan and Monroe]," Mariah was grilled about Bryan. "I refuse to answer under the grounds that it may incriminate me," she said with a sly smile before expertly changing the subject. Watch the clip above.
