Matthew McConaughey [1] recently sat down with Jess Cagle for People magazine's The Jess Cagle Interview [2] series, and he couldn't help but gush over his wife of four years [3], Camila Alves. The Free State of Jones actor happily described the night he first met the organic food company owner [4], which happened at an LA club with Lance Armstrong [5]. "I was very happily single and healthily single. I was not looking," he said. "But out of the corner of my eye, this sort of aqua-green figure went floating across the frame about 20 feet in front of me. My eye went up and I remember what came out of my mouth. I didn't say, 'Who is that?' I went, 'What is that?' As I was trying to get that's attention across the room, I went in my head, 'This is not the kind of woman you call over across the room, McConaughey. Get your ass out of your chair and go get her.' Which I did."

Matthew went on to say that a few of the main reasons he fell for the Brazilian beauty (in addition to her flawless style [6]) were her sense of "self-respect" and "her relationship with family."
