Michael Bublé's 3-year-old son, Noah, has been diagnosed with cancer. The singer and his wife, Argentine actress Luisana Lopilato, who are also parents to son Elias, whom they welcomed in January 2016, confirmed the heartbreaking news on his Facebook page [2] on Nov. 4, writing:

"We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US. We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children. Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well. At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy. We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing."

While Michael and Luisana have remained quiet since releasing their statement, their family members have come forth and offered some more insight into what they're going through. Luisana's sister, Daniela Lopilato, recently told Argentinean magazine Gente that Noah has been diagnosed with liver cancer [3] and has begun chemotherapy. "Cancer is a horrible illness, but we have faith in Noah being able to overcome this," she said. "We know he will. The time to start a long and very difficult treatment has come, but it's got to be done."

Michael's friend, music producer David Foster, also revealed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada that Michael will not sing again until Noah is well [4]. He also gave the singer's fans hope with an update on Noah, saying, "He's in good shape. He's got good doctors around him. We will hope and pray for a good outcome, which I believe that they will have."
