Miley Cyrus and her controversial VMAs performance are the subject of a new MTV documentary, which is titled Miley: The Movement and will premiere on Oct. 2. In the just-released trailer for the new feature, Miley discusses her new, very un-Disney-like image and her preparations leading up to the VMAs, including a meeting with Britney Spears. "I was born to become who I am right now. . . . I'm at a point in my career where I can be exactly what I want to be, who I want to be," Miley says, adding that "you're always going to make people talk. You might as well make them talk for two weeks rather than two seconds."
The talk surrounding Miley has become so intense that Justin Timberlake was asked to weigh in during an interview on the Today show this morning. While Justin, who won the lifetime achievement award at the VMAs this year, was careful to say that he doesn't necessarily agree with Miley's "presentation" at the show, he does think that she is "smart and talented."
With so much going on around Miley and her career transformation, it was only a matter of time before someone profiled her for a documentary.
